Slocum&Co
Slocum&Co is an exciting new Australian electric-folk/rock band with a high-energy live performance history and a brand new album -Flight Of Fancy- just released.

The band, led by multi-instrumentalist musician and singer, Mick Slocum, also features a movable feast of some of Australian’s leading musicians and singers.

Flight Of Fancy
The band’s third release in as many years - Flight Of Fancy - features a sensational song list, including traditional Celtic-based folk, some extraordinary and often unexpected contemporary covers, as well as a range of self-penned songs from Mick and some co-writing credits with his band members. All in all, it’s a great addition to the Australian music scene.

MICK SLOCUM

Mick is recognised as one of Australia’s leading folk musicians with his virtuoso accordion and concertina playing as well as his well-honed mouth organ skills. He is also an accomplished singer and an extraordinarily talented live performer.

Mick’s credits go back to the landmark band The Bushwackers (arguably Australia’s greatest electric folk band) and The Sundowners.

Mick has toured internationally and, of course, around Australia over many years.

Mick's third album Flight Of Fancy was produced in conjunction with one of Australia’s leading engineers/sound producers Martin Pullan from Edensound (Pseudo Echo, Joe Camilleri, Hunter Caine, John Farnham) and features a lush and at times surprising, soundscape which is both technically brilliant as well as creatively outstanding.
